The Market Maker Method
I’ve been a professional trader since the 1990s, and in 1999 I documented a model that explains how the market really moves — long before it became widely taught.
It’s called the Market Maker Method, and it describes the three phases institutions use to engineer price:
- Accumulation
- Manipulation
- Distribution (Profit Release)
This framework is now known globally as AMD, but it began here.
Today, the Market Maker Method is visualised through the PAT AMD Indicator, which runs on TradingView and shows these phases unfolding in real time.
