A five minute overview of the PAT software

PAT is an abbreviation for Professional Activity Tracker

The name Professional Activity Tracker is a bit of a mouthful so this was shortened to just PAT. When you complete the online trading course (now free) you will learn what professional activity is, how it takes place and how you profit from it.
As a PAT user you are Tracking the activity of the professional side of the market along with the currently held beliefs about future price. You then use that information. (information that is not available in any other trading software) to make informed trading decisions.

The actual PAT chart

Charting the market has not really changed in more than 100 years. Basically all trading software (apart from PAT) takes price information and translates this into patterns. Traders then trade these patterns. This approach is fundamentally flawed in today's market place, but it does not stop traders and would be traders from going down the same route as those before them with a 'safety in numbers' mentality. It is no wonder that 95% of traders who take the 'pattern' approach to trading fail. The remaining 5% go on to achieve success as they gradually step away from the pattern trading mentality and move towards what is really behind every price movement.

What is behind every price movement

PAT has literally broken the mould, stepped away from the basis of price and worked on a single premise. That premise says that nobody will buy anything until they believe it will rise in price. Nobody will sell anything until the believe it will fall in price. From this a logical conclusion is reached that the one single factor behind every price movement is BELIEF in either high or lower prices.

PAT is a software which when you are thoroughly trained in its use will enable you to read the manipulated beliefs in the market.

 

In Summary

Beliefs are behind every market movement. The heart of the PAT software is the belief bar, this shows the current beliefs about future price. When looked at in relationship to the other belief bars, you are presented with a map of developing beliefs about future price. It is this map that allows the user to make informed trading decisions, upon which (enter the market is the act of placing a trade) which are aligned with the current beliefs about future price.

*PAT does not show an open or close price as this is irrelevant information when you are trading beliefs.
